In its February 2018 issue, Livingetc celebrated design as a language of character—selecting pieces that infuse interiors with warmth and imagination. Under Design/Shopping, the “Edited Choice” spotlight fell on the Kiliya Lamp: a sculptural form inspired by ancient Anatolian figurines. With its fluid teak silhouette and abstract presence, it was praised for giving rooms “a warm and bright context,” transforming light into a subtle act of storytelling.
The narrative unfolded further in Homes/Etc with “Ideal to Steal,” where the Mandarin Bed and Zoe King Bed were featured as treasures of contrast. The Mandarin Bed, with its soaring four-poster frame inspired by the Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou, brought architectural gravitas to the bedroom.
The Zoe King Bed, in turn, offered a softer counterpoint, layered with whimsical intrigue. Together, they embodied Livingetc’s vision of interiors alive with peculiar detail—where elegance meets imagination at every corner.
